Welcome Our New Pro, Taylor Andersen!

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Taylor Andersen to our team of amazing instructors! Many of you have already met her on the courts during clinics, but for those who haven’t, you’re in for a treat. A former college player with a true passion for the game, Taylor loves working with both Juniors and adults, bringing energy and expertise to every session. There’s even a rumor (highly suspect, of course) that the women’s team recruited her to help take down the men in this month’s Battle of the Sexes—a competition the men have dominated for the past two years. Will Taylor be the game-changer? We’ll have to wait and see! Be sure to say hello and give her a warm welcome next time you see her on the courts! 

 

Coach Johnny’s Baby Shower!
Join us in celebrating Coach Johnny and the exciting arrival of his little MVP! We’re throwing a baby shower in his honor on Saturday, March 15th, at 5 PM at Gold Key Racquet Club. It will be an evening filled with fun, laughter, and great company as we shower Johnny and Emily with love and support. Let’s make this a special day for Coach Johnny as he prepares for his newest and most exciting role—Dad! We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone. Battle of the Sexes
Get ready for an exciting showdown as we welcome our newest pro, Taylor Andersen, with a Battle of the Sexes Doubles Competition! This members-only event will take place on Saturday, March 29, at 5:30 PM. The women's team captains will be Taylor, Deondra, and Vitt, while the men’s team captains will be Luis, Cody, and Johnny. The entry fee is $15 per member, and we’ll be celebrating afterward with pizza for all competitors. Don’t miss out on the fun—let’s see which team comes out on top!

February’s Team Tennis Series Concludes
February’s Team Tennis Series wrapped up with two weekends of intense competition between Team Vitt and Team Cody. While Team Vitt put up a strong fight, Team Cody ultimately took the win. A huge thank you to all members who participated and made this friendly club competition a success! If you missed out, don’t worry—Summer Team Tennis returns in June and July, so mark your calendars! Check out the attached photos from both weekends of play! 

 

Clinic Updates & Changes
We’re making a few adjustments to our clinic schedule, effective this month. The Sunday Intermediate Live Ball session from 10–11 AM will now be Intermediate+ Live Ball, starting March 9th. We’re also saying goodbye to Ladies Night on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month but introducing a Gentlemen’s Clinic on the 2nd and last Fridays of each month. Both the Ladies and Gentlemen’s Clinics will now take place on adjacent courts, finishing at 8 PM, followed by $1 off beer and wine in the pro shop. For the last 20 minutes of each session, we’ll mix both groups for fun games across the courts. The official kickoff is Friday, March 14th—don’t miss it! All updates have been reflected in Wellness Living.

 

Ladies’ Night Doubles – Every Thursday at 7 PM

Grab your racket and join us for Ladies’ Night Doubles every Thursday at 7 p.m.! This fun and social evening is open to all skill levels, making it a great opportunity to play, improve your game, and connect with fellow tennis enthusiasts. Whether you're looking for some friendly competition or just a great night out on the courts, this event is for you! Free for members and $15 for non-members. Adult Top Gun Singles Drop-In – Sundays at 2 PM

If you love the challenge of singles play, don’t miss Top Gun Singles Drop-In every Sunday at 2 p.m.! No sign-up needed—just bring a can of balls, hit the courts, and compete in this exciting, fast-paced event. Free for members and $15 for non-members, this is the perfect opportunity for experienced players or those looking to get back into the game. Think you have what it takes to be this month’s Top Gun? Jr. Tennis Adventure Night – March 28

Looking for a fun night out while your kids stay active and entertained? Jr. Tennis Adventure Night is the perfect opportunity! On Thursday, March 28, kids will enjoy an exciting evening of tennis games, fun activities, a movie, and pizza—all in a safe and supervised environment. From 5 to 7 p.m., they’ll hit the courts for engaging tennis games and activities, followed by a relaxing movie and pizza from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost is $45 per child, and the sign-up deadline is March 26. Parents, this is a great chance to enjoy a date night or simply relax with a quiet evening to yourselves! Organized by Taylor Andersen, this event promises a fantastic experience for young players. Calling All Junior Players! 

The Junior Tennis Academy is launching a new After-School Tennis session starting the week of March 3rd and running for four weeks. Whether your child is looking to sharpen their skills or dive into the sport, this program provides top-tier coaching in a fun and engaging environment. Late enrollments are welcome and prorated, so it’s never too late to join! While missed classes cannot be carried forward, they can be made up in similar sessions.
